We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our elite defense operations in San Jose, CA. As a member of our information security team, you will play a critical role in shaping our security posture, ensuring compliance, and driving incident response strategies.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures to safeguard organizational assets and data.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches, performing forensics and mitigation.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security compliance audits.
- Monitor security systems (SIEM, IDS/IPS) to detect and neutralize threats in real-time.
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security controls into the DevSecOps pipeline.
- Ensure strict adherence to compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HIPAA.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a senior engineering role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation and tooling.
