Location: Los Angeles, CA (Remote).
Responsibilities
- Lead 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) monitoring and rapid incident response.
- Design and implement robust cybersecurity architectures to mitigate enterprise risks.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (Red Teaming).
- Ensure strict compliance with NIST, ISO, and HIPAA frameworks.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into the Software Development Life Cycle (DevSecOps).
- Manage and optimize security tooling, including SIEM, EDR, and IAM solutions.
- Develop threat intelligence reports and present findings to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT security.
- Active certification as CISSP, CISM, or CEH is highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of Linux, Windows, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack, or LogRhythm).
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a distributed, remote environment.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
