Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced security solutions, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches, minimizing downtime and data loss.
- Monitor security alerts and analyze threat intelligence to proactively neutralize cyber threats.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, information security, or network engineering.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols.
- Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting for security automation.
- Experience with enterprise-grade security tools (e.g., Splunk, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
