Responsibilities
- Lead penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify system weaknesses before hackers do.
- Design and implement robust security architecture for hybrid cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Oversee incident response protocols and lead forensic investigations for security breaches.
- Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with HIPAA and SOC2 standards.
- Develop and automate security monitoring tools using Python and Bash.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and harden network infrastructure.
- Train junior staff on security best practices and emerging threat vectors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- CISSP, CEH, or CISM certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security and threat detection.
- Strong proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions.
- Deep understanding of firewall management, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
