Responsibilities
- Lead the design and deployment of advanced security solutions, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and DLP.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Oversee incident response plans and lead forensic investigations for security breaches.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate third-party security products.
- Provide expert-level security training and mentorship to junior team members.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security frameworks.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on threat hunting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting.
