Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade security solutions, including firewalls, SIEM, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify potential risks.
- Lead incident response teams during security breaches, performing forensic analysis and containment.
- Develop and enforce robust security policies, standards, and procedures compliant with ISO 27001 and GDPR.
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate DevSecOps practices and secure coding standards.
- Monitor security alerts and proactively hunt for threats across the network and cloud environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent advanced certification (e.g., CISM, CEH).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related role.
- Deep technical knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, networking protocols (TCP/IP), and virtualization.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Experience with cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
