Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Conduct thorough incident investigations and root cause analysis for security breaches.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and security audits to ensure system integrity.
- Manage user access controls and privilege reviews to enforce the principle of least privilege.
- Update and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation in accordance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement secure coding practices and DevSecOps pipelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT security.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS) and common attack vectors.
- Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
