Responsibilities
- Design and deploy enterprise-grade security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust architectures
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for critical infrastructure
- Lead incident response operations during security breaches and cyberattacks
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement secure CI/CD pipelines
- Provide mentorship to junior security analysts and conduct security awareness training
- Stay current with emerging threats and regulatory compliance requirements (NIST, GDPR)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or similar roles
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ (required), GSEC or OSCP (preferred)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network security protocols
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and SIEM tool proficiency (Splunk, QRadar)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure during incidents
