As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be the frontline defender of our client's digital assets, ensuring resilience against evolving cyber threats while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security events and alerts in real-time using SIEM tools to detect and respond to potential threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in network infrastructure.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
- Assist in compliance reporting (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2) and internal audits.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement secure coding practices.
- Provide security awareness training to staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Active CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a SOC (Security Operations Center) environment.
- Strong proficiency with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to critical security incidents 24/7 on a rotation basis.
