Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-premise systems
- Develop incident response playbooks for ransomware and DDoS attacks
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement zero-trust architecture
- Generate compliance reports for NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards
- Lead security awareness training for cross-functional teams
- Research emerging threats and contribute to threat intelligence databases
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations with hands-on SOC experience
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in Python/PowerShell for automation scripting
- Experience with AWS/Azure security services and Palo Alto firewalls
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and encryption protocols
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 coverage
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
