Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade security frameworks including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms
- Lead incident response procedures for security breaches including forensic analysis and containment
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, and Terraform
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security practices in CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and correlate threat intelligence
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on network security and threat detection
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong knowledge of encryption protocols, PKI, and zero-trust architectures
- Experience with security automation tools and infrastructure-as-code
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
