Responsibilities
- Architect and implement zero-trust security frameworks across hybrid cloud environments
- Lead incident response for sophisticated cyber threats including ransomware and APT attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop automation scripts for security monitoring using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and NYDFS cybersecurity regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in enterprise security architecture
- Expert-level CISSP or CISM certification required
- Proven experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Advanced knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, STIX)
- Hands-on experience with EDR, XDR, and next-gen firewall technologies
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation
- Excellent communication skills for executive-level security briefings
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one
