Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM and EDR technologies
- Lead incident response protocols for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid cloud infrastructures
- Develop security automation frameworks using Python and Terraform
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Manage zero-trust architecture implementations and access control systems
- Present security briefings to executive stakeholders and technical teams
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection and response
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or OSCP with active certifications
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and cloud-native architectures
- Strong background in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS)
- Proficiency in security automation tools (Splunk, SOAR, Ansible)
- Experience with compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Ability to mentor junior security engineers and drive security best practices
