Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures across cloud and on-premise environments
- Lead incident response operations including threat hunting and forensic analysis
- Develop and execute penetration testing strategies for enterprise systems
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2) for financial services clients
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
- Research emerging threats and contribute to security innovation roadmap
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering roles
- CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network security fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Proven track record in incident response and threat mitigation
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance (required for client projects)
