Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust network security architectures across hybrid cloud environments
- Lead incident response protocols for complex cyber threats and data breaches
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for enterprise systems
- Develop security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers and document security policies/procedures
- Stay current with emerging threats and NIST/CIS compliance frameworks
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering with hands-on SIEM/SOAR experience
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or OSCP required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with threat hunting and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
