Responsibilities
- Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-grade security architectures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and Zero Trust models.
- Conduct advanced threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify weaknesses before malicious actors do.
- Oversee and direct the Incident Response (IR) team during active security breaches, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
- Manage and optimize SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to correlate logs and automate alerting workflows.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI-DSS through regular audits and policy enforcement.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the DevSecOps pipeline.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent advanced certification.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity engineering, risk management, or information security analysis.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automating security tasks.
- Strong understanding of malware analysis, social engineering defense, and cryptography.
