Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced security architectures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in our network.
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts during security breaches, ensuring rapid mitigation and recovery.
- Monitor security alerts and analyze threat intelligence to proactively defend against cyberattacks.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Train and mentor junior security analysts on security protocols and incident handling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related role.
- Proven experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel) and log analysis.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
