Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within our SIEM environment.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security controls to protect against malware, ransomware, and phishing attacks.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to secure cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Generate detailed incident reports and conduct post-incident reviews to improve response times.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Certification preferred: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or network security analysis.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Experience with security tools such as Splunk, CrowdStrike, or Microsoft Sentinel.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python or PowerShell) for automation tasks.
