As a critical component of our IT infrastructure, you will be responsible for safeguarding sensitive data, monitoring network traffic for anomalies, and responding to security incidents with precision. Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct daily vulnerability scans and manage remediation efforts to maintain compliance.
- Investigate and contain security breaches, providing detailed post-incident reports.
- Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and endpoint protection.
- Enforce security policies and ensure adherence to regulatory standards such as NIST, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
- Perform security audits and risk assessments to identify potential weaknesses in systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or IT Security roles.
- Certification preferred: CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with security tools such as FireEye, Snort, or Palo Alto Networks.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
