Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems for potential threats and anomalies.
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, incidents, and breaches in a timely manner.
- Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch systems and secure network architecture.
- Generate and analyze security reports to provide insights to stakeholders.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
- Active certification such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, or CEH preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST, SANS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a 24/7 SOC environment.
