Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security controls to mitigate zero-day threats
- Generate comprehensive incident reports and executive dashboards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture improvements
- Stay current on emerging threats and compliance frameworks (NIST, GDPR)
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (1 week/month)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or incident response
- Certified in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in network protocols, firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), and IDS/IPS systems
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, CrowdStrike)
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, high-stress environments
- Active U.S. security clearance preferred
