Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for threats
- Incident response handling including forensic analysis and mitigation
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Perform security audits and compliance checks (NIST, HIPAA)
- Research emerging threats and recommend defensive measures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with active Security+ certification
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network protocols
- Strong knowledge of incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Experience with vulnerability scanners (Nessus, Qualys)
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and encryption standards
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
