Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM alerts and perform real-time triage on security events during the weekend shift.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure.
- Lead incident response efforts for weekend breaches, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Manage and update security playbooks and incident response procedures.
- Collaborate with the SOC team to ensure 24/7 threat coverage.
- Perform compliance audits and generate security reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certification preferred: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+.
- 3+ years of experience in SOC analysis or Security Engineering.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, Firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently during weekends.
- Experience with tools such as Splunk, Wireshark, or Sentinel.
