Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and incident response for zero-day vulnerabilities
- Perform security audits and penetration testing on cloud infrastructure
- Develop and implement security controls for AWS/Azure environments
- Collaborate with SOC teams to remediate critical vulnerabilities
- Create security documentation and compliance reports (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior analysts on emerging threat vectors
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SOC/NOC operations
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure security services)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Strong understanding of GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS compliance
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance (US citizenship required)
