Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor advanced security controls (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Lead incident response for security breaches and cyber threats
- Develop security policies and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Manage cloud security environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture
- Train staff on security best practices
- Generate executive security reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity (SOC, CISO, or analyst roles)
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in threat detection and incident response
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols
- Experience with cloud security tools (AWS GuardDuty, Azure Sentinel)
- Ability to work rotating on-call schedules
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Active DoD 8570 compliant certification
