Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events 24/7, specifically covering weekend shifts to ensure 365-day protection.
- Conduct real-time incident response and remediation for security breaches and cyber-attacks.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement robust security protocols and policies.
- Analyze threat intelligence data to predict and mitigate potential security risks.
- Generate and maintain detailed incident reports and forensic documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or network defense.
- Proven experience working in a 24/7 operations environment or weekend shift schedule.
- Deep knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar), Firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto), and IDS/IPS systems.
