Responsibilities
- 24/7 Monitoring: Actively monitor security alerts, logs, and dashboards for suspicious activity across our network infrastructure.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of security breaches, malware infections, and system compromises.
- Threat Hunting: Conduct proactive searches for hidden threats and vulnerabilities within the environment.
- Reporting: Generate detailed incident reports and security metrics for management and stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal security policies and industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
Qualifications
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network defense.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel), EDR solutions, and scripting (Python/Bash).
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Friday to Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for incident reporting.
