Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in the network infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks to mitigate cyber threats effectively.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA, SOC2, and NIST frameworks.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Perform regular security audits and provide detailed reporting to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, LogRhythm, or Azure Sentinel) is required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
