Responsibilities
- Lead incident response for complex security breaches using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Monitor and analyze SIEM alerts across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement DevSecOps best practices
- Prepare executive-level security briefings and compliance reports
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to threat hunting initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on SOC analyst experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) required
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong understanding of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and NYDFS regulations
- Proficiency in network protocols, Windows/Linux systems, and cloud security
- Experience with threat intelligence feeds (CrowdStrike, Recorded Future)
- Ability to work rotating shifts in 24/7 environment
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
