Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the SIEM environment in real-time.
- Conduct daily vulnerability scans and risk assessments to identify potential system weaknesses.
- Perform threat hunting and forensic analysis to uncover hidden malicious activities.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks to ensure rapid mitigation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to harden network architecture and cloud environments.
- Generate detailed security reports for stakeholders and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and encryption standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure during security breaches.
