Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) to identify potential threats.
- Lead incident response efforts for critical security breaches, coordinating with legal and IT teams.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Produce weekly threat intelligence reports and brief executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in a SOC, InfoSec, or Network Security role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Experience with incident response frameworks (e.g., NIST, SANS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
