Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts within the SIEM environment using Splunk and ArcSight.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in our network architecture.
- Develop and implement robust security policies and compliance frameworks aligned with NIST and ISO standards.
- Lead incident response efforts during security breaches, coordinating with internal teams and external law enforcement if necessary.
- Manage firewall configurations, VPN access controls, and endpoint security solutions.
- Perform security audits and provide detailed reporting to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, including SOC or IR experience.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and secure coding practices.
- Proven experience working in a remote or hybrid work environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
