Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and monitor Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- Develop, implement, and enforce robust information security policies and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Lead incident response investigations and forensic analysis of security breaches.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Conduct regular security awareness training for staff and manage security audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or Red Team operations.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, encryption, and identity management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
