You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our security operations, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data assets.
Responsibilities
- Threat Monitoring & Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of security incidents using SIEM tools like Splunk and QRadar.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify and patch security gaps before exploitation.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory frameworks including NIST, HIPAA, and GDPR, managing audit preparation and documentation.
- Security Architecture: Design and implement robust security controls, firewalls, and encryption standards to protect against evolving cyber threats.
- Culture Building: Educate employees on security best practices and develop comprehensive security awareness training programs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC certification is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or a related technical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and familiarity with cloud security platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
