Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify and mitigate potential threats in real-time.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches, ensuring containment, eradication, and rapid recovery.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our systems.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust security policies and procedures in compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Investigate and analyze forensic data to determine the root cause of security incidents.
- Stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies to recommend proactive defense strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, SOC Analysis, or Network Security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM are strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption standards.
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container security.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows environments.
