As part of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you will play a pivotal role in threat detection, incident response, and ensuring regulatory compliance across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Events: Continuously analyze alerts from SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead or assist in the containment, eradication, and recovery of cyber security incidents.
- Threat Hunting: Proactively search for malicious actors and indicators of compromise within the network environment.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular scans and penetration testing to assess system security and manage remediation workflows.
- Compliance Reporting: Ensure adherence to internal security policies and external regulatory standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
- Security Awareness: Educate staff on security best practices and coordinate phishing simulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or network operations.
- Certifications: Active CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH certification is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM technologies, endpoint protection tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, EDR), and firewalls.
- Tools: Strong working knowledge of Python or Bash scripting for automation.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
