Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain security policies and compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to design secure architectures.
- Perform forensic analysis on security breaches and report findings to stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or a related technical role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
