Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level security architectures using zero-trust principles
- Lead incident response for advanced persistent threats and ransomware attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-prem systems
- Develop security automation using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and NYDFS regulations
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with 3+ in leadership roles
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or OSCP required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network segmentation
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Experience with security orchestration and automation (SOAR)
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent security incidents
- Excellent written/verbal communication for executive reporting
