Responsibilities
- Lead incident response and threat hunting initiatives using SIEM platforms
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
- Monitor emerging threats and implement mitigation strategies
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection/response
- Certification: CISSP, CISM, or equivalent (required)
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to obtain/maintain government clearance (if applicable)
