The Role: As a Part-Time Data Analyst at Nexus Systems, you will play a pivotal role in interpreting complex data sets and providing actionable insights to our stakeholders. You will work closely with product managers and engineers to optimize our data pipelines and reporting structures.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth.
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries and database structures.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and quality through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in data analysis, preferably in the tech industry.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing concepts.
- Expert level in Excel and experience with Python or R for data manipulation.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business insights.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a part-time capacity.
