Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance software solutions for equity options pricing and execution engines.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to translate financial models into scalable code.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and low-latency performance for real-time data processing.
- Maintain and secure our cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) handling sensitive financial data.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices for financial software.
- Debug complex issues in multi-threaded environments and high-frequency trading systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, preferably in Fintech or High-Frequency Trading.
- Strong proficiency in Python and C++.
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and caching layers (Redis).
- Understanding of financial instruments, specifically Equity Options and derivatives pricing models.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
