Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security protocols to safeguard company networks and systems
- Lead incident response activities including threat detection, analysis, and mitigation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across digital assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop security awareness training
- Monitor SIEM platforms and analyze security logs for anomalous activity
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices
- Document security procedures and maintain compliance frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with proven incident response track record
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or GIAC (e.g., GCIH, GCFA) required
- Expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and threat intelligence
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks, ISO 27001, and compliance regulations
- Proficiency in security tools: Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, etc.
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to communicate complex threats to stakeholders
