Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Design and implement robust security architectures and protocols to safeguard network infrastructure.
- Lead post-incident investigations to determine root causes and improve defensive measures.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal policies and external regulatory frameworks (NIST, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness training programs to educate employees on threat prevention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or SANS GCIH are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and encryption standards.
- Proven experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and report findings clearly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
