Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-wide security architectures
- Lead incident response and threat hunting operations
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Manage SIEM platforms and security automation workflows
- Develop compliance frameworks for NIST/CIS standards
- Mentor junior security analysts and cross-functional teams
- Stay current with emerging cyber threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity/IT or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, or GIAC preferred)
- Expertise in network security, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and SIEM tools
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS)
- Experience with security automation tools (Splunk, Palo Alto Networks)
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance
