Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec)
- Lead incident response for security breaches, including forensic analysis and containment protocols
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop zero-trust architecture frameworks for enterprise networks
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA security standards
- Mentor junior analysts and document security procedures
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in threat detection/response
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required (OSCP preferred)
- Expertise in network security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Proficient in Python/Shell scripting for automation
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong analytical skills with forensic investigation background
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
