Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts, events, and logs from SIEM systems to detect and respond to cyber threats 24/7.
- Conduct forensic analysis and root cause analysis for security incidents and breaches.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and penetration testing on network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the threat intelligence team to update signatures and response playbooks.
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO).
- Document security incidents, response procedures, and system configurations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) environments, specifically with night shift experience.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network protocols, and common attack vectors.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously during off-hours.
