Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events in real-time to ensure 24/7 system availability.
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks before they escalate.
- Manage and configure security tools, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms.
- Perform deep-dive log analysis and correlation to detect anomalous network behavior.
- Document all incidents and incidents reports for compliance and audit purposes.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure seamless handover of active investigations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network administration, or IT security.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or similar) and threat intelligence platforms.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Experience with incident response (IR) procedures and malware analysis.
- Ability to work independently and remain alert during night shifts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
