Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools like Splunk.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal networks.
- Implement and manage security controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Develop and maintain Incident Response (IR) playbooks and disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and emerging threats.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP), encryption standards, and VPNs.
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud security best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (if applicable).
