Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events on SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight) 24/7.
- Conduct forensic analysis and triage of cybersecurity incidents to minimize downtime.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing activities.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Collaborate with the broader SOC team to resolve tickets and escalate high-priority threats.
- Document incidents and prepare detailed reports for management review.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in SOC, NOC, or Cybersecurity operations.
- Experience working the night shift is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, and Windows/Linux operating systems.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+, GCIH) are a strong plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.
