Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for suspicious activities using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar).
- Lead incident response efforts to contain and remediate security breaches.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement secure coding practices.
- Develop and maintain threat intelligence reports and security documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Security+ are strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
